Schloss Mering ist ein zweigeschossiges, winkelförmiges, mit einem hohen Walmdach und mit zwei polygonalen Ecktürmen mit Hauben versehenes Gebäude. Es liegt, umgeben von einem Park mit altem Baumbestand, am westlichen Rand des Marktes Mering an der Paar.
