Das Monument General Hoche (Abb. 1) steht in Weißenthurm am Rhein, einer Kleinstadt nördlich von Koblenz. Es ist das Grab und Denkmal für den französischen General Louis Lazare Hoche (1768–1797) (Abb. 4), der während des Ersten Revolutionskriegs am 18. April 1797 von hier aus (Abb. 2) den Rheinübergang seiner Truppen leitete.
