Die Marienkapelle Frauenthal im heutigen Stadtteil Frauenthal der Stadt Erftstadt hat ihren Ursprung als kleines Gotteshaus einer Klosteranlage, die an dieser Stelle im Mittelalter durch eine Ordensgemeinschaft errichtet wurde.
